Dishwashers that won’t drain, won’t clean, or trip the power — diagnosed honestly and repaired with a 12-month warranty.
Common faults we fix
- Water left in the bottom after a cycle
- Dishes coming out dirty or gritty
- Leaks onto the kitchen floor
- Not starting, or stopping mid-cycle
- Error codes on the display
- Tripping the safety switch
What’s usually behind it
We diagnose before we quote, and we’d rather you knew what we were looking for. These are the faults that come through the workshop most often.
| What you’re seeing | Usual cause | What the fix normally is |
|---|---|---|
| Water sitting in the bottom | Blocked filter, drain pump or outlet hose | Clear and test the drain pump |
| Dishes come out gritty or still dirty | Blocked spray arms, or a wash pump losing pressure | Clear the arms, test pump pressure |
| Leaking onto the kitchen floor | Perished door seal, or a split fill hose | Seal or hose replacement |
| Won’t start at all | Failed door latch switch, or the control board | Latch switch, or PCB replacement |
| Error code on the display | Varies — but the code narrows it down quickly | Diagnose from the code, then quote before starting |
| Trips the power mid-cycle | Heating element broken down internally | Insulation test, then element replacement |
Why there are no prices on this page. We service sixty-eight brands, and the same symptom can be a cheap part on one machine and an expensive one on the next — so any price list we published would be wrong more often than it was right. Instead: we diagnose it, we quote it, and you approve that price before any work starts. If the repair isn’t worth doing, we’ll tell you that instead.
On-site, or in the workshop?
Dishwashers — including integrated and fully built-in units — are repaired in place. All we need is clear access to slide the machine out from under the bench.

Worth repairing, or time to replace?
Dishwashers are one of the appliances people replace too early. Describe the symptoms on the phone and we’ll tell you which side of that line yours falls on — before you spend a cent.

Questions we get asked
Is it worth repairing a dishwasher over ten years old?
Honestly, that one comes down to you. We’ll tell you what’s wrong and what it costs to put right — and from there people go both ways. Some would rather fix a machine they know and get years more out of it; others look at the quote and decide they’d sooner put that money towards a new one. Both are fair enough. Our job is to give you the real number and the honest assessment so you’re deciding on facts rather than a guess.
Do I need the error code before I call?
It helps, but no. If the display shows one, read it out and we can usually tell you what’s involved before we come out.
Can you repair integrated or built-in dishwashers?
Yes. Integrated units are repaired in place; we just need clear access to slide the machine out.
