We service sixty-eight brands, and the same symptom can be a cheap part on one machine and an expensive one on the next — so any price list we published would be wrong more often than it was right. Instead: we diagnose it, we quote it, and you approve that price before any work starts. If the repair isn’t worth doing, we’ll tell you that instead.
On-site, or in the workshop?
Washing machines are normally repaired on-site — they’re plumbed in, and most faults are accessible where the machine stands. A dryer that needs stripping down, or a bearing job, is sometimes quicker and cheaper in the workshop. We’ll tell you which yours is on the phone.

Caught early, it’s a small job
A worn seal, a blocked pump or a suspension fault caught early is a small repair — keep running the machine and it can turn into a big one. If yours is genuinely at the end of its life, we’ll say so rather than sell you a repair.

Questions we get asked
Is a bearing replacement worth doing?
This is the honest borderline. On a well-built machine it often is; on a budget machine near ten years old it usually isn’t, because the labour is the same either way. We’ll give you the number and let you decide.
Front loader, top loader, combo or heat pump?
All of them. Front and top loaders, washer-dryer combo units, and heat-pump dryers as well. Combos and heat-pump models are more involved than a plain vented dryer, so mention which one you have when you call and we’ll know what we’re coming to.
It only plays up sometimes — can you still find it?
Usually. Intermittent faults are normally a worn brush, a marginal pump or a lazy sensor. Tell us exactly when it happens and that narrows it down fast.
